You should definitly give it a try. You can actually pick up the actual razor at an antique store or flea market for just a few bucks. They are made of 2 or 3 pieces of stainless steel or aluminum so they are virtually indestructible. Blades you can get at just about any drug store. The shaving cream is a little different…. the only place I’ve found that carries good shaving cream locally is Sak’s. They carry Kiel’s product line which includes a nice shaving cream (they have creams for use with a brush and without).

Very interesting. I too have thought about the cost of shaving, but was afraid to do the math. Ick. Might have to look into this.

i drive to work every day on eastern avenue. there are so many bikers that i’m about to run one of them over one of these days. bikes are NOT cars and should be banned from streets. they go a third of the speed of cars and don’t fit it with the flow of traffic. it’s like having an old lady driving 15 mph next to me. does a bike take up a lane or just the side of a lane? no one can tell, so we drivers just jerk our cars all over the road trying not to flatten you. knock it off!
